once has been changed to newsstand I deleted it!

Unlike the Apple app, Google Newsstand doesnt let you block certain sources from appearing in the "read now" section. There is a siege of right wing propaganda that makes me sick to see or accidentally open. I cant use this app. I will come back when Google gives us the option to block/mute sources.

Whats the point why you dont hear from us the app Doesnt work anymore :( update it !!! Says server error when I try to access read now or topics !!

Good app, but if you ask to view a topic. Expect 50 million other topics along with it. I could careless about this or that. I want to just read about the selected topic.

I only have this app installed on my iPad because its the only way I have to access my digital magazine subscriptions (I dont want to install Chrome on my computer). Even after I have downloaded the latest issue of one magazine, the app takes forever to display a page.

Not sure why all the low stars? I love it! Thx Google. I use this as my go to source for news. Once again first to market and an amazing product. Great job :)

Dont believe the negative reviews. This app is a quality piece of work. Google knows very well how to make a quality app that is relevant

I cannot view a single page of downloaded stuff

EDIT 6/28: Back to 1 star. Articles are automatically unlocked when clicked again. I have no idea why it was disabled for those few days before, but it seriously needs to at least be an option to disable it. One accidental tap and a free read gets wasted on something you arent particularly interested in. EDIT 6/27: They got back two stars for bringing back the manual unlocking of articles from limited publications. However you still cannot filter publications, which has left my feed littered with the likes of TMZ and Bollywood updates...

This app icon is grayed out on my phone, wont open and wont delete.

I deleted this app today because I finally had enough of all of the sick, offensive news articles this feed keep serving me. With no way to block the offensive content I have no choice but to say goodbye forever to you.

Some news feeds like RT Russian TV news and right wing blogs showing as news cannot be removed

The instructions I was given by the subscription werent usable and the app isnt any more helpful. What a waste of my time.

Saving offline content (which doesnt even seem to work half the time) uses up several gigs of data. And doesnt delete it. The only way to free up the space again is to delete the app and start over. Its too bad, because other than that its a pretty good news app.

Such promise!! From what I understood, this app could take all the "blogs" I follow and make them into a magazine that I can thumb through. Well I added my blogs and deleted the news sources that automatically get added, but all I see is Trump. Tons and tons of Trump articles. Oi. I finally found where the content I WANT to see lives, but unlike the all the google added news articles (which I cant get to go away), I cant thumb through the stuff I want to see. Each page and article has to be opened individually. Might as well just click them from my bookmarks in my browser. Such a shame!

I compulsively use this app. Buy lately it keeps showing stuff that I have no interest whatsoever, a whole category that I dont want to see at all

Update: 9/6 - you download the articles but theyre not available offline? Ridiculous. Fix this. Uninstalling. Previous review: Unviewable on the iPad Air. First, margins extend past the screen. And then, only 60% of screen real estate is used. With a two black bars occupying unused screen space. And Im a Google devotee, but I cant hang with this one. Sorry google!

This Ap does half of the time not open up and I have to un instal it and even then it often does not open is an good Ap when working but needs fixing so I can rely on it to work
