Cant stand seeing some so-called news outlets in my feed. Not having the ability to block these led me to uninstall.

This is the best news reading app Ive found, but the storage space it uses continually grows, and the only way to reclaim that space is to delete and re-download the app.

Love the app

If you tap download it will show progress and eventually complete. Once complete it will show a checkmark so you think you are good to go. However, if you try and open the magazine offline it wont work. This app is completely useless if I cant read downloaded magazines offline. Im spending money on subscriptions and cant use them.

Dont want the NY Times? Too bad. Google rams it down your throat. Dont like sports? Tough. Google knows whats good for you. With all the resources at Googles disposal, you would think they would be able to look at existing products, take whats good and improve upon it. Instead, they seem to have used Apples bottom of the barrel product as their guide. If you like Apples news app, then you dont need this. If you dont like Apples news app, you dont want this.

I know about the "algorithm" that is supposed to bring content you are interested in, but its BS. Ive NEVER been interested in Slate but there are article after article that keep showing up. This is just like the BS algorithm tweak that hides negative searches for Hillary Clinton. UNINSTALLED.

If it actually showed the articles from the sources I selected it would be great. 90% of articles are from sources I have removed.

I thought the previous layout was perfect for catching up on headlines in various topics but now it appears to be giving me headlines in one page that I can skim in a minute or less and it be made up of various articles of topics I could care less about. It reminds me more of a Facebook news feed than a useful news app.

I enjoyed how streamline the old format of articles was. This current experience and format of article cards is not a pleasure to use. Font is bold and small, too many buttons on each article. For instance, why would I want to share an article from the card? :-(

Need to read in complicated page layout.

Wow! This new experience is terrible. Takes more taps and scrolling to see anything you want. A single article takes up most of the screen. No more tabs across the top to get to my topics. What were you thinking Google!?

I loved Google Play before the new layout was introduced. It provided a way for me to read headlines and obtain info by topic/subject matter. Now everything is on one screen like Apple News. I hate the new layout and have deleted the app from my phone.

While people who use this app regularly might not like the new layout. I love it. I am giving it another shot after the update as I never really got into the original one. And for a pretty much a new comer, I have replaced my current news app for this within the first 5 minutes. Its awesome!!!

Thanks google, now I can keep all my topics , stories and channels in a one place.

Google now assumes it knows what you want to read. Typical. They did away with news sections that were easy to swipe through. Cant believe it but Apples news app is now better.

Where did my saved categories go? That was the best part of the app. Its a belly flop. Now I need a different app.

Needs Apple watch app. One of my favorite news readers.

Used to be my go-to news app. This new update has completely changed the format, making it not as user experience friendly. Bring back swiping of topics to view everything

On my iPhone 7 plus when I press the tile to start the app, the tile dims as thou it is starting but just stays dim --- nothing happens! I deleted the app and reinstalled it, same result. Bummer!
