Ive tried several but Googles algorithms are the best at selecting stories Ill find interesting, better than the iOS news app by far. I havent had any of the iOS9 issues others have reported.

Latest update? whatever the issue,I can no longer get it to work.tried everything. Please help a news junkie get his news back! Only message I get is "there was a server error. Please try again later."

I love this as my main news app but, just like on my tablet, some of the pictures for the related article just dont match. For example, an article reviewing the latest Nexus phone had a picture of (I kid you not) what looked like a dead animal that had been found in permafrost in the frozen Tundra. Other than that, the design of the app is great.

The design is kind of a mess with that ugly font, and you cant really refine things too much. MSNs News app is cleaner and simpler. There is an ability to add RSS feeds but the whole experience is clumsy. This is a far inferior version of its predecessor, Google Reader.

Pretty well designed app, but, is missing basic functionality like manage topics. There is no option to remove topics.

Glad to see this service getting updated. One of my favorite services for getting info on various subjects. UPDATE NEEDED: Need to be allowed to block news sites that you dont want to see. Shouldnt have to keep seeing PAY WALLS because the articles you show from the New York Times and others keep showing. I dont pick them anymore and I dont want to even see them. Glad to use this on my iPhone/iPad. Keep the updates coming.

Really good app i like the new update is nice i love the app i hope this app is continue like now but i like to see more news in spanish

Crashes every time after about a half-dozen articles are read. iOS9.

This is much better than Apple native news app in my opinion and so far I have not run into any crashes.

Automatic refresh isnt really helpful when you are in the NYC subway. App refresh too often and lost all my offline articles everytime I have access to mobile single. Also, i think user should be able to set time to download all news at their desire time. I want to download all news 1hr before I go to work and read it on the subway.

Love the interface but not the name. It should be just Play News. The whole Play Newsstand just looks disgraceful to the Apple UI.

No updates have fixed the consistent and maddening instability. App crashes every time I use it in iOS 9. Extremely unreliable. **This is the third update to this review and I am still flummoxed at the infuriating consistency of the apps prolific 100% crashing streak** ...app deleted

The program continually crashes since the last update. However, I like the layout and content delivery. Please fix the stability issue!

The app is great except that I constantly have the same ~ 10 stories appear from 2013-2014. If the feed was all current news I would rate much higher.

I really like using Google Newstand. It is very good at fine tuning which stories I would like to read. However the app constantly crashes on my iPad mini. I wish Google would fix it.

Crashes randomly in the middle of reading an article... Prob hasnt been fixed in 18 months since I had it... Meh

Great app with excellent animations and an overall simple UI. However, IT NEEDS THE ABILITY TO CLEAR CACHE. the cache builds up pretty quickly and there isnt a way to delete it. Add the feature an 5 stars for sure!

Great layout and easy to navigate, plenty of free reads for paid newspapers. BUT the app crashes about every 2mins while using. Once the crashing issue is fixed this is a 5star app.

Why do I care about Top News or Featured Articles? You took a great app and killed it.
